Shelters
The UTS shelter is the latest technology and design in rapid-deploying shelters and has become the preferred choice for military use. The systems have passed the required environmental and performance testing. UTS shelters offer rapid, reliable and robust performance that is enabled by its unique frame system. There are a wide range of sizes and configurations to meet your specific needs.
UTS shelters are designed to accommodate all types of operational support equipment including HVAC / ECUs, power generation, medical, billeting and command and control. UTS shelters come standard with ECU duct connections/plenum distribution and internal 110V power distribution wiring. Please contact us for any additional environmental control, power or shelter accessory requirements.
Each UTS shelter comes standard with large duct openings, a Thermal Fly, pre-installed 20A electrical outlets and additional overhead tracks for SIPR/NIPR cable.

The setup procedures are simple and intuitive and require a minimal amount of training. This is all made possible because of the unique rope and pulley system. The system allows the frame to be setup first allowing the fabric to be hoisted into place below the frame, eliminating the requirement to lift both the frame and fabric simultaneously. Having the frame external to the outer fabric allows for a thermal fly to be installed on top of the frame which creates additional environmental protection. UTS shelters do not require additional tools, compressors, or ladders.

All aspects of the shelter are designed to be rugged and durable. The frame is built with robust components that are high strength offering trouble free setup. The fabric components are manufactured using the highest quality products with the most modern fabrication techniques.
-
UTS shelters meet or exceed all DOD standards for environmental performance. Testing has been successfully completed for snow load, wind load, driving rain, blackout, durability, Sand and Dust and Salt Fog.
-
UTS shelters come in various sizes and dimensions and can be interconnected to create larger complexes to meet the operational requirements.
-
The UTS shelter offers an energy efficient design that comes with a standard liner and thermal fly. The standard thermal fly reduces the overall ECU power consumption by 26% as tested by the Air Force Research Lab. Additional thermal efficiency can be achieved using the optional insulated liners.
-
The UTS Shelter is lightweight and compact making it highly mobile system that can be setup, taken down and transported with a minimal number of people and a minimal amount of space in the transport equipment. Each shelter is packed in 5 different carry bags so it is man portable and does not require material handling equipment.
