UTS SYSTEMS, LLC CLOSES ITS ACQUISITION OF DYNOVIS, INC. TO CREATE A FULLY INTEGRATED COMPANY AND STRENGTHEN ITS CAPABILITIES FOR GROWTH AS A TACTICAL SHELTER AND DEPLOYABLE EQUIPMENT BUSINESS

Fort Walton Beach, Florida (June 30, 2022) - UTS Systems, LLC, a leading provider of rapid-deployable military shelters, mobile power, and environmental control systems, announced today that it closed its acquisition of Dynovis, Inc., a long-standing engineering and manufacturing partner. The combined company will operate as UTS Systems, LLC with headquarters in Fairfield, Virginia.
The transaction brings together sales, engineering, manufacturing, and program management capabilities to provide customers with a “single company” experience. UTS Systems will continue to support customers and programs from its combined facilities in Florida and Virginia, bringing together over 125,000 SF of dedicated product development and manufacturing space.
James Maurer, former COO of Dynovis, will lead the combined company as CEO. Tom Eggers, former CEO of UTS Systems, will lead Sales and Business Development as Senior Vice President. Both Mr. Maurer and Mr. Eggers are industry veterans and leaders in the development and manufacture of expeditionary shelter systems. Phillip Won, also an industry veteran, has joined the company as CFO.

UTS Systems has garnered a dedicated following among deployed military forces for its rugged TM and TXL Series shelter systems, which deploy in minutes for quick operational readiness. UTS shelter systems increased it product offering with Dynovis XGT mobile generators and environmental conditioning units, along with array of ancillary equipment tailored to user needs.
This transaction follows UTS Systems’ acquisition in December 2021 of precision machining assets and production capabilities of Destin Machine, of Destin, Florida.
